GONESA Nepal successfully conducted its 23rd Annual General Assembly on 19th September 2025 / Mansir 23 in Pokhara , with the active participation of board members, general members, staff, partner organizations, and community representatives. The inauguration ceremony was chaired by President Mr. Ram Subedi and hosted by the General Secretary Mr. Shyam Kunwar, marking an inspiring start to the event. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Antonio from funding organization who delivered an encouraging speech appreciating GONESA’s strong partnership and remarkable contribution to improving the lives of children and poor communities in Nepal. During the assembly, the annual progress report was presented by the General Secretary, highlighting significant achievements in child development, education, health, nutrition, and community empowerment across district. The financial report and audit statement were presented by Treasurer Ms. Nirmaya Gurung, ensuring transparency and accountability in financial operations.

 Likewise, an independent consultant presented the Social Audit Report, reflecting GONESA’s commitment to good governance, community participation, and result-based management. Major stakeholders and beneficiaries also attended the event, expressing their appreciation for GONESA’s impactful work and their willingness for continued collaboration in the future.  The assembly also reviewed strategic priorities for the coming year, focusing on expanding initiatives in climate change adaptation, sustainable livelihood, and educational innovation.  The event concluded with a shared commitment to advancing GONESA’s mission of promoting the rights, dignity, and well-being of children and marginalized communities throughout Nepal. The AGM 2025 concluded successfully, marking 25 years of dedicated service by GONESA Nepal toward inclusive, sustainable, and community-driven development.
