Good Neighbour Service Association (GONESA) Nepal successfully held its 24th Annual General Assembly and Social Audit Program on 16 Ashoj 2083 B.S. (2 October 2026) in Pokhara, Kaski. The program was chaired by President Mr. Ram Prasad Subedi, and chief guest Mr. Liladhar Paudel, Chief of the District Coordination Committee, Kaski, and was attended by representatives from local government, NGO Federation Kaski, advisors, Board Members, staff, members, well-wishers, and stakeholders.

Social Auditor Mr. Narayan Paudel presented the Social Audit Report, highlighting GONESA’s activities, achievements, and contributions in education, child development, health and nutrition, community empowerment, social inclusion, and climate resilience. The Annual Progress Report and Financial Report were presented by General Secretary Mr. Shyam Nath Kunwar and Treasurer Ms. Nirmaya Gurung, respectively, and were approved by the Assembly.

During the program, Dr. Dhaneshwar Rijal, Mr. Basanta Gautam, Dr. Bimal Bahadur Kunwar, Mr. Krishna Bahadur Kunwar Chhetri, Mr. Khadga Bahadur Thapa, Mr. Ishwar Kumar Sapkota, and Mr. Dil Bahadur Gurung were honoured for their contributions to social service and community development.

The Assembly reaffirmed GONESA’s commitment to good governance, transparency, accountability, inclusion, and sustainable community development, with continued focus on serving children and disadvantaged communities. President Mr. Ram Prasad Subedi expressed sincere appreciation to all guests, members, advisors, staff, stakeholders, and supporters for their valuable participation and continued support.
