Child Health Care Services

GONESA has established a functional Health Clinic within its office to provide accessible and immediate health support to students. The clinic offers preliminary medicines to address common illnesses and minor health conditions, ensuring timely care and reducing absenteeism. Children showing any health-related concerns receive a basic health check based on symptoms, allowing early detection of potential issues. The clinic also provides counseling services, helping children to cope with stress, emotional challenges, and personal difficulties in a safe and confidential environment. For cases requiring specialized or advanced care, the clinic ensures proper referral to nearby health facilities, linking families with the appropriate medical services. This integrated approach promotes overall well-being and contributes to a healthier environment.

Furthermore, Program ensure annual health check-ups for all students with the support of medical experts, assessment of each child’s physical well-being. During these check-ups, children’s weight, height, and mid–upper arm circumference (MUAC) is measured to track their nutritional status and overall growth. This systematic monitoring promotes healthy growth and supports early intervention for vulnerable students.
