The Success of GONESA’s Hariyo Ban Program
GONESA Nepal successfully implemented Hariyo Ban Program. It is funded by USAID/WWF/CARE Nepal and works with the community members and Natural Resource Management Groups from 3 districts Kaski, Tanahun and Syangja of Gandaki Province with an aim to conserve biodiversity and increase ecological and community resilience in Chitwan Annapurna Landscape (CHAL) and Terai Arc Landscape (TAL). It has reached 3 districts, six blocks, 13 municipalities, 40 Wards, 190 NRM Groups and over 50000 populations.
