22 ^nd General Assembly of GONESA Completed Successfully on 12th Ashoj 2081. The event was marked as milestone of serving needy children and community for 25 years. The program was graced by the presence of Honorable Member of Parliament Damodar Paudel  Bairagi as chief guest and various stakeholders of government, funding partners and civil society. The Assembly commenced with warm welcome of senior social leader Major Dil Bahadur Gurung. 

A comprehensive report of achievements and financial overview were presented by General Secretary Shyam Kuwar and Treasurer Nirmaya Gurung of GONESA. GONESA awarded social persons and contributors by chief guest.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Damodar Bairagi expressed appreciation for GONESA’s contributions and committed to providing necessary government support for social transformation. The event concluded with a heartfelt speech by the former Chairperson, Mr. Major Dil Bahadur Gurung, who thanked all stakeholders, participants, community members, government officials, and staff for their support and valuable feedback. The Closing Session was conducted among members in which participatory discussion were conducted on past achievements, upcoming plans, challenges and strategies. At the end, new   executive Committee was formed under leadership of Mr. Ram Prasad Subedi. The General Assembly concluded with vote of thanks, gratitude to all participants, guest and chief guest and stakeholders for their support and encouragement.
